Hotel Review
Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, St Helier, Jersey
With a wall of glass windows facing the sea, this stylish hotel on Jersey's Waterfront has an enviable position right at the water's edge, with views to Elizabeth Castle. There is a buzz in the bar and restaurants as designer-clad locals come to hang out and linger over the seasonal menu or drink cocktails on the sunny marina-side terrace. There's a small pool and gym and beauty salon offering manicures, pedicures and waxing. Rooms have those dramatic views and you can watch the amphibious vehicle going backwards and forwards to Elizabeth Castle, which sits on a tidal island. All rooms are spacious with suites also having coffee machines, robes and movies. Jersey's only cinema and largest leisure centre are both within walking distance.

Food & Drink
The detox afternoon tea is a healthy take on this favourite, including hummus and crudites and berry and honeycomb skewers. We love The Waterfront's bouillabaisse, a rich fish stew of locally caught red mullet, monkfish, mussels, king prawns and venus clams, flavoured with garlic and tomato.
The Waterfront: modern European menu, al fresco dining. Open daily for breakfast and dinner; Sunday lunch 12.30-3pm.
