Hotel Review
THE INN, St Helier, Jersey
A compact boutique hotel on the outskirts of St Helier with a dynamic bar and a well-respected restaurant that serves Madeiran hanging skewers called espetada. Rooms vary in character and colour from monochrome black and white to racy red velvet. Facilities are limited but there is a small car park across the road and a bus runs regularly into town (a brisk 10-minute walk away) or into the country parishes of St John and Trinity where you can pick up the north coast cliff paths. Unusually for a three-star hotel you'll find robes in all the rooms save for the lowest category, along with a snack tray of goodies, air conditioning and bluetooth speakers.

Style & Character
This hotel suits city-breaking couples. We love the multi-coloured concentric-ring fabric used to upholster the sofas and for the curtains.
