WHAT WE LOVE...

Hi-tech rooms with pops of panache come with tropical gardens, fantastic children's facilities in a fairytale castle setting and gourmet French cuisine that's delivered with plenty of ooh la la. We loved the luxurious touches - a welcome box of cheese and olive pies, pastries and chocolates and Commandaria wine and Cypriot orange spoon sweets that surprised us one evening on our return. White and cream marble provides elegant styling throughout plus there's an attractive living wall in the lobby, three outdoor pools (one for adults), six restaurants and bars and a sandy beach. A luxurious spa with three indoor and two outdoor Thalassotherapy pools, one replicating the salinity of the Dead Sea, is an oasis of calm. Supervised children's activities are extensive.

Style & Character

The hotel suits families who love the themed kids' club, drop-in sessions and zillions of activities, couples out of high season and spa aficionados. The huge glass chandelier representing amphora leaves of different colours that hangs in the lobby is a stunning centrepiece.

Service & Facilities

We loved that the waitress offered to replace our 'international' brandy sour with a longer Cypriot version we'd enjoyed on previous visits.

Food & Drink

Unusual breakfast options include salmon marinaded in beetroot, beetroot and orange marmalade and piping-hot waffle lollipop. We loved French-inspired LPM for its amazing signature beetroot-infused gin, garlicky snails, herby bream, zingy yellowtail carpaccio, buzzy vibe and attentive service.

LPM: terrace restaurant and oyster bar, French cuisine. Open daily for dinner, Fri-Sun for lunch.
Lanes: main restaurant, buffet breakfast and à la carte options. All-day dining, open daily.
Il Teatro: al fresco restaurant, open kitchen. Italian cuisine, local wines. Operates seasonally.
