WHAT WE LOVE...

Streamlined interior design is one of Denmark's biggest claims to fame - and nowhere celebrates that classic Danish style more than Hotel Alexandra. This central hotel, on the edge of City Hall Square, is furnished top to toe with vintage items from the golden era of the 1950s and '60s. If you already know about the big name designers, you'll appreciate living among their works; if you don't this is your chance to learn, with knowledgeable staff to answer any questions, and little nuggets of information painted on the corridor walls. Staying here could well prove educational but even if Juhl and Jacobsen mean nothing to you, you can still appreciate the hotel's homely atmosphere and handy location, within easy reach of shops, nightlife and transport links.
