Hotel Review
Weeke Barton, Exeter, Devon
Plenty of hotels aspire to be a 'home away from home', but few manage to create that feeling as successfully as Weeke Barton. It all starts from the moment you arrive - the building is everything you want a Dartmoor house to be; rugged cob and stone on the outside, cosy and full of history on the inside. It sits in five acres of grounds on the edge of the national park, close to superb walks and the pretty towns of Moretonhampstead and Chagford. Owners Jo Gossett and Sam Perry have fully renovated the house, restoring period features and adding their own style with carefully chosen furniture and artwork. Look forward to delicious home-cooked food and don't miss the homemade granola.
