Hotel Review
Sidmouth Harbour Hotel, Sidmouth, Devon
Located on a hill to the west of town, Sidmouth Harbour Hotel enjoys sweeping views of a long pebbly beach and dramatic red sandstone cliffs. Nautical details in the design of the hotel bring out its maritime history, and the hotel offers family activities like rockpooling and seaside picnics, or you can simply stroll along the esplanade and walk the steep cliffside steps of Jacob's Ladder. After a blustery coastal walk there's nothing nicer than visiting the hotel spa for a massage, or sitting back in the sauna. Then you can while away the evening in the bar, where there's a long cocktail list and plenty of local spirits.
