Hotel Review
Tewkesbury Park, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
This gracious, spacious hotel is in a green world of its own on the southern edge of Tewkesbury. Turn up its long drive and you make your way through Tewkesbury Park's own surrounding golf course to reach a striking, white-rendered mansion dating from the 18th century. This is the central hub; around it are modern additions that include a leisure annex with swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts, gym and dance studio, and a large wing for weddings and meetings. A supremely comfortable venue, the hotel has Nordic-style furnishings in a pleasing harmony of browns and blues and big windows for wonderful, eye-stretching views. Two large lounges, a restaurant serving a seriously tasty medley of British and Indian cuisine and 93 generously sized bedrooms complete the picture.
