Hotel Review
Villa Arcadio, Salò, Lake Garda
Nestled among olive groves and fruit orchards on the southwestern shore of Lake Garda, this beautiful hotel is set in an ancient convent dating back to the 14th century. The Finnish-Italian owners have done a fabulous job at converting the villa into a boutique hotel, preserving original details where possible. The interiors are filled with antiques and works of art from the owners' private collection, dating back to the 16th century, and original fresco motifs embellish the walls. There's a gorgeous swimming pool offering lovely lake views, and a fitness trail that snakes its way through woodland. The restaurant serves superb Italian and international dishes on a pretty terrace overlooking the lake. The quiet, refined atmosphere here makes it the perfect spot for couples and friends looking to unwind in a sophisticated setting.

Style & Character
It's ideal for couples and small groups of friends seeking a quiet and sophisticated spot, and the perfect place to unwind poolside with a book, or to do a sprinkling of sightseeing around the lake. We love that the interiors are so refined, but there's an unpretentious and intimate atmosphere (there are only 18 rooms).
