Hotel Review
Hotel Lido Palace, Riva del Garda, Lake Garda
This elegant and sophisticated hotel is housed in an elegant Art Nouveau palazzo in Riva del Garda, a tranquil resort hemmed in by rugged cliffs on the north-western shore of the lake. Dating back to 1899, Lido Palace has nothing of the stuffiness of many of the grand lake hotels. You'll find contemporary interiors tastefully blending modern touches with original features, abstract works of art adorning the walls, and furnishings in vivid hues creating a youthful vibe. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of light and make the most of the gorgeous lake views. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and there's an attractive spa where you can easily while away the days taking in the panoramic vistas.
