WHAT WE LOVE...

The USPs of the Seaside Collection of hotels are their proximity to the beach, superb food, and tailored service. The four-star Seaside Los Jameos doesn't disappoint - it's a mere hop, skip, and a jump to the golden brown sands of Playa de Matagorda. The brand's iconic seahorse emblazons the neoclassical Canarian exterior, and a grand entrance leads you to a suitably stylish interior. It's welcoming rather than overpowering though, with the look of a traditional Lanzarote courtyard complete with palm trees and wooden balconies. The hotel's colour scheme is reflective of the island too; all whites and blues. This is the Lanzarote beloved by local artist and architect Cesár Manrique, who warned against high-rise hotels: the Seaside is just four storeys.
