Hotel Review
Hotel V Fizeaustraat, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Hotel V's third Amsterdam hotel is impressive in the style and value it offers at a comparatively low price. In a suburban setting near Amstel station east of the centre, its location won't be for everyone, but it gives a completely different insight into what makes up Amsterdam. Created from a former 1970s office block, its 91 rooms and public areas have a clear design theme echoing that era but firmly set in the present. Its bedrooms are generously proportioned, and the large open plan lounge bar and restaurant areas are inviting and understandably always buzzing. The exemplary dishes in the restaurant are complemented by a well chosen wine list.
