WHAT WE LOVE...

Stay at this handsomely restored townhouse hotel on St Mary's - the largest of the inhabited islands that form part of the Scillies archipelago. The hotel, originally built by Count Leon de Ferrari just before the Second World War, offers prime position for exploring the islands, close to Hugh Town and the harbour. It's a welcoming base that is both dog and family friendly with a selection of rooms and suites, a flourishing Mediterranean garden and a recently refurbished steak house-style restaurant with an open kitchen, serving local and sustainable dishes that showcase the finest island produce. Guests are invited to relax and enjoy contemporary comfort within a traditional setting with friendly staff and incredible attention to the finer details.

It was great to watch the chefs prepare fresh island produce through the 'window view', adding an exciting and interactive element to the evening.
