WHAT WE LOVE...

The Crinan Hotel is situated on the waterfront at Loch Crinan on Scotland's west coast, just seven miles from Lochgilphead and 35 miles from Oban. An inn has been on this site for more than 300 years and the hotel has been owned by the Ryan family for over 40 years, who offer colourful hospitality and artistic flair. Rooms enjoy spectacular views and the three restaurants provide everything from simple fish and chips to award-winning gourmet dishes. Its cosy pub makes it even more difficult to leave for the day but if you do there's everything from wonderful boat trips to horse riding, and discovering the astonishing number of prehistoric standing stones and carved rocks just up the road at Kilmartin Glen.

Style & Character

Lovers of the sea, hearty walks amongst spectacular scenery and the best seafood will especially enjoy it here. The Trumpton-like canal basin by the hotel is very pretty, has a cute little mini-lighthouse and is a great spot for boat watching.
