Hotel Review
The White Lion Hotel, Aldeburgh, Suffolk
The hotel has been through lots of changes over the years, but it was successfully refurbished a few years back and these days has a contemporary feel in its ground floor public areas and in 38 comfortable and well-equipped rooms - some of which enjoy wonderful views over Aldeburgh's pebble beach and the North Sea beyond. It has a busy bar and two good restaurants and is in an excellent location to enjoy what is perhaps the East Coast's poshest seaside resort.

Style & Character
The hotel suits Aldeburgh weekenders looking for a hotel that's centrally located, preferably with sea views, but not wanting to spend too much money. Refurbishing the main restaurant and bar was a great decision, giving it a classic yet contemporary décor and furniture that suits a casual table-for-two just as much as a big occasion.
