WHAT WE LOVE...

Is it significant that Resorts World is Las Vegas' first new resort since 2010? Either way it's good to see this part of Vegas coming back to life after being a building site for so long. Resorts World is called a mega-resort for good reason: it's enormous! The glittering red 59-story tower is an umbrella for three Hilton hotels with a total of 3,506 hotel rooms and a ground floor with shared casino, theatre and retail zone named the District. While the Hilton, Conrad and Crockfords look like they're joined, they all have separate lobbies and entrances. Party away the evening at the lush Cabana Pool, and with seven other pools in the same zone, there is literally something for everyone.

THE DETAILS

Location

For a change to hanging out at the swish mega-resort, we love going across the road and popping into the low brow Ross Discount Store and having a meal at bargain-priced Denny's.

The hotel is in a new mega-resort, set away from the Strip.
By plane: Flights to Las Vegas from London take 10 hours 40 mins. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the airport. Free parking available on-site. skyscanner.net

Style & Character

This hotel suits tourists and visitors looking for a bit of style at a fairly reasonable price. Watch out for the daily resort fees though. We adore the Ayu Dayclub and the whole 5.5 acre pool complex. It's perfect for having a swim, lounging, enjoying the outdoors and sunshine.

Service & Facilities

We like having the Grubhub app - great if you're prone to snacking at unusual times of the day and night.
