WHAT WE LOVE...

This stylish 10-floor hotel housed in a Beaux Arts building dating back to 1905 has a great central location just a couple of blocks from the Empire State Building. It blends the character of an historic building with all the mod cons and design elements a modern traveller would expect. It has an impressive art collection on display, and snazzy, if not huge, guest rooms, plus a seasonal roof bar, buzzing cocktail bar and rated restaurant. There's no pool, gym or spa, but prices reflect that.

Style & Character

A younger crowd populate this rejuvenated hotel more than the historic exterior may suggest. We loved the characterful mix of period features like pillars and ornate ceiling moldings with ultra-contemporary art and modern design touches.

The rooftop bar serves great cocktails with city views.
