Hotel Review
Margaritaville Resort, Palm Springs, USA
There are 26 Margaritaville hotels and resorts spread across the US, Caribbean and Central America that channel the relaxed, colourful and let's-enjoy-life philosophy of the American singer Jimmy Buffett. This is one of the newest properties, opened in autumn 2020 in a heritage resort dating from 1959 that sits in the north of Palm Springs. It is large but not overwhelming, with two pools, three bars and almost 400 rooms and suites. Being part of a well-known hospitality brand, and the only Margaritaville Resort on the US west coast, it is popular with couples, families and groups; there are also venues for weddings, conferences and other events. Weekends are busiest, and the resort is a good pick for sociable travellers who enjoy cocktails and spa treatments.
