Hotel Review
The Fuzzy Duck, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
The Fuzzy Duck is a cosy yet plush boutique pub in a small Warwickshire village that lies in easy striking distance of Stratford-upon-Avon. The pretty, creeper-clad redbrick inn is owned by brother-and-sister duo Adrian Slater and Tania Fossey who are also the founders of soap product company Baylis & Harding, and they have applied their brand's ethos of affordable luxury here. Expect good, well-priced dishes in the restaurant, pleasing art on the walls and stylish touches such as Frette bed linen in the five bedrooms. In winter, sip a homemade blackberry vodka by the crackling fire in the bar area; in summer head to the sunny back dining room or sit out in the expansive garden.
